Latter Day Sinner

I saw a trailer for a movie that was trying to be scary with a screen that said: Signal lost! I grew up in an analog world before anyone but the military worried about signal failure. But it got me wondering how much analog backup we currently have. This blog is a tiny digital footprint and very little of it is printed out on paper. My wall is covered with my art if the digital copies are lost. But think about the important stuff. I’d like to believe all our medical records have analog versions. How much of modern stock markets have legacy print backups? Will the invisible hand be invisible when the signal is lost?
