Latter Day Sinner

I just finished the first season of Land of the Lost. In the final episode “Circle” the Marshalls make it home. I had no clear memory that they had escaped the Land of the Lost, and that’s probably because there were two more seasons which just ignored the true ending. That’s good business considering the enduring love the show has generated over the past fifty some years, but it’s bad storytelling. I decided to stop at the end of season one and might watch it again someday and may later be more forgiving about the other two seasons which don’t make sense after the escape. For now I will enjoy the sense that the Marshalls did in fact make it. Stay Awesome, Stay Weird, or Stay Away!
