Stephanie and I are in a long term argument about whether I argue too much. When I was little I had a book that taught me about giving people warm fuzzies and not giving them cold pricklies. It, like most of my childhood, created a very unrealistic expectation of my capabilities as an adult. I love to argue on the internet. I give people especially strangers cold pricklies all the time. It feels good to tell people they are wrong. Nobody wants to hear that they are wrong especially me, so I keep arguing. There are only three possible results in life: Victory, Surrender, and Struggle. Stephanie confuses that with right wing politics. That is certainly where some of my arguments go, but she is mistaken about that being the reason I argue in the first place. Follow this conversation to see more.
