Inactive or Feral
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints would consider me an inactive member when it considered me at all. But “inactive” is boring and weak. I don’t want to be as lame as that sounds. I have begun to refer to myself as a feral Mormon. That sounds weird and a little dangerous.…

The Works
It can be successfully argued that the Christian Bible (as opposed to the Hebrew Bible) preaches a religion based on grace not works. Sleeping Sounds Good
I need to take my pills and wait half an hour to eat but I don’t think I’m going to be able to stay awake until my usual bedtime. It’s been a hell of a week.

Final Harvest 25
Winter is coming to Wisconsin. The garden is empty and this is the result. The carrots and tomatoes did well. Stephanie got one squash. The corn and beans were lost. Our lives as a piece of art.

Saints and Beer
I am confident at this point that beer is not against my religion. While Joseph Smith Jr was alive the early Saints were allowed mild (alcoholic) drinks. The Word of Wisdom specifically allows mild drinks, so I’m feeling less guilty about drinking a case (12 bottles) of Sam Adams Boston Lager every week. The THC…
